Greece 14th to 18th September 2014

During a rail tour in Northern Greece I managed to get a few decent shots; generally when the weather was at its worst, which is sometimes when its at its best for photography…..

The trip PTG Tours started in Sofia, Bulgaria, then headed direct into Greece via Kulata then across northern Greece to Alexandroupoulis Port. Day 2 headed out of Greece and into Turkey with Day 3 seeing it return via an alternative route back to Alexandroupoulis Port before heading to Thessaloniki on Day 4. The trip then covered all areas in the Thessaloniki area; including Florina, Idomeni and the long unused line to Neos Kaukasos. Of course it then returned to whence it came from in Bulgaria.
